Stuff That Has Been Happening

What stuff has been happening?

Well, lots of “stuff” has been happening since my last blog. Here is a quick overview.

Coaching The Dog

Well, where to start? I guess I’ll start with the biggest change. The observant among you may have noticed that what was called “Tom’s Basic Training” has now morphed into “Coaching The Dog” and it has all been moved across to it’s own shiny new website .

Meanwhile, I have been busy studying, as I have started on my “LEVEL FOUR – Training and Behaviour Consultations and Functions of Behaviour” qualification with the Institute Of Modern Dog Trainers.

I also continue to provide help, where I can, to fellow adopters of Bulgarian Rescue dogs from Break The Chains, For Dogs Bulgaria, which is where my beautiful little Rapunzel came from, and is the least I can do to say thank you.

Shooting The Dog Clothing Store

If you are a dog lover then you really need to check out the designs in my clothing store – it’s mainly T-Shirts and Hoodies at the moment, but I am hoping to expand the collection soon. The designs are all based on photographs of dogs I have taken over the last however many years it has been. The trick is finding the right photograph to make the design from, and then tinkering about until it looks right. They would make wonderful presents for the pet lovers in your life.

Don’t Forget The Pet Photography!

And of course I am still doing the pet photography, and will be launching the 2024 Christmas Card Mini-Sessions for the start of September. Oh, and talking of Christmas, our gift vouchers are having a bit of a revamp, but will be available in plenty of time to make a great gift for your pet loving friends and family.

Other Stuff

Lot’s of other stuff has been going on, for the second year in a row I have been involve with Brixham’s Britain In Bloom entry, creating both the judges portfolio and the presentation video. I have also been putting together the new Brixham In Bloom website, which is still a work in progress, but feel free to take a look. I also help to look after the Middle Street Community Garden, which is undergoing a few changes at the moment too.

There have been some rather unpleasant investigations into the inner workings of my digestive system, which I am please to say haven’t uncovered anything too scary. I will definitely try and stay behind the camera in future, but I have to admit the technology used is incredible!

The experts are also looking at the inner workings of my brain at the moment, as I am in the middle of being assessed for ADHD and Autism – the results of which might help to explain quite a lot!

So, it’s all go, and I might be quiet for long periods of time but that doesn’t mean I’m not doing anything.
